My Advice In Troubleshooting Network Issues
Try the steps below trouble shoot slow internet or any other network issues.
- Use one of the sites listed above to test your internet speed on more then one device if your internet is slow. If you it is only one device then it is that device.
- Reboot your computer or any other device.
- Reset your router. Sometimes I noticed that a router restart can fix even one devices internet issues.
- If you use an Ethernet cable then make sure the end to computer and they are plugged in tightly.
- If you are using Wi-Fi then make sure your Wi-Fi is on, and your are connected to your Wi-Fi Access Point
- Update your network drivers..
- Try a Wi-Fi hotspot if you have one on your phone or tablet. This would help you rule out your ISP.
- Call your ISP.
- Scan for malware.
